Sarah Hicks '26 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to play at a collegiate level to expand my knowledge of the game. Although I'm only a freshman, I'm already dreading the end of my high school soccer career, and I'm not ready to give up the sport. I have loved soccer ever since my first practice at 7 years old.  Academically, I have a 4.0 GPA, and take all accelerated classes. I am also ranked 1st in my freshman class. As an athlete, I am able to maintain a healthy balance of competitiveness and sportsmanship. I am incredibly coachable, and I welcome constructive criticism. In the 2022 season, I was the co-captain of our JV soccer team, and occasionally played Varsity. I am also playing club during the off-season. I am a disciplined student-athlete, as I also run track and cross country. I have been a part of the cross country team for 5 years, three of which were on the varsity team.  In the 2023 track season, I ran in the 4x100 relay team at State. I also was awarded All Area in track for 2023. I truly feel that I am the type of athlete that could benefit your program.
