Hello! My name is Ava Uhl and I am a junior at Taunton High School that will graduate in 2025. I am a center attacking midfielder and I play for NEFC at the National level. I am a starter on varsity at my high school and I was named captain for next fall season (my senior year).
Throughout my 9 years of my soccer career I have always dreamed one day that I will take my game to the next level and to be able to play on a college soccer team. My goals and aspirations of being a student athlete in college is not only to succeed academically, but to have love and support from being apart of a team. In college, I want to study Sports Medicine to then become a Physical Therapist in the future.
When I first started participating in sports when I was younger, I knew that soccer was my favorite and that I wanted to continue playing. Ever since then, I had been on multiple travel teams, recreational teams, and playing at the club level. I started playing club when I was around 11 years old and I now play for NEFC at the national level. I made varsity as a freshman in high school and have played varsity all throughout my high school soccer career at the D1 level. Going into my senior year next year, I was named captain of the Taunton High School soccer team. I am looking forward to next season to show my leadership role to the team.
I am a very hard working and disciplined high school student athlete. I am also a very coachable individual that is always willing to take feedback and contribute my very best to benefit team success. I continue to explore my college options and I am excited to find a great fit that provides the opportunity to play the game I love while I earn my degree.
