Cara Johnson '10 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was 5, and began playing Premier soccer at the top of the Michigan youth leagues at age 8. I have consistently been the leading goal scorer, and lead in assists on every team that I have played for. My coaches describe me as dedicated, hardworking team player with precision striking ability and field vision. I consider myself a true student of the game, and watch and admire players such Thierry Henry, Ryans Giggs, Wayne Rooney and Dieder Drogba. I take every opportunity to learn from watching college and professional matches whenever I can. I've attended the Women's World Cup games and catch the WNT and MNT matches whenever possible. My passion for the game runs deep and I am truly excited each time I step on the field. I am as thrilled at the completion of a perfect pass, as I am with the feeling of tucking the ball in the top corner of the net. Soccer is in my veins and I am looking forward to starting the process of finding the right college playing experience where I can continue to learn and grow as a player and make a significant contribution to the team's success.
