I have been playing soccer for as long as I can remember. My dad played when he was younger and so did my brother, so I have been growing up with a supportive soccer family. It has been my dream since I was very little to be a college soccer player. I have been playing club soccer since I was 9 years old and started on an all-boys team that was 2 to 3 years older than me. In addition to club soccer, I played for the YMCA co-ed team and then on the high school varsity girls' soccer team. This past season, I had the opportunity to play for the FC Missoula team, which is a traveling team with games in Washington, Idaho, and Montana. The positions I play most are left mid and forward. I lettered in soccer and made All Conference during both my freshman and sophomore years. I enjoy playing on a team and support my teammates on and off the field. I am committed to my education as well as athletics. I have maintained a GPA of 3.5 or better throughout high school. I am also a mentor for younger students as part of my school's Big Jacket-Little Jacket program and volunteer at community soccer banquets and summer camps. I also enjoy playing my trumpet in the high school band. I come from a small town in a big state and hope I can play on the women's soccer team for a great college.
