Anna Zerba '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Anna Zerba. My friends call me Zerb or Zerbs. I am a 2027 grad from New Hampshire. I’ve grown up in Bow, New Hampshire most of my life, along with my mom, dad, and three cats. Bow has given me a wonderful education, and taught me lifelong skills to have on and off the field.

 Although New Hampshire is a great place to play soccer, I do not not limit myself to it when viewing colleges. I have a dream of playing in college, and believe I can reach it. I have played for my town league for as long as I can remember, and it has given me bundles of practice. I have played for my middle school team both of my 7th and 8th grade years. Just over a year now, I have been with my club team, Seacoast United. In this club, I have improved so much in just over a year. This year was my first time trying out for NH ODP. I made the winter pool, and now have been selected for the state team. 

I strive for not perfection, but progress. I do not wish to hit my peak, or become my best now. I plan to keep on improving myself, not only on the field but off it too. 

My parents have always been my biggest supporters, not only coming to sports, especially soccer, but also my own well-being. Although they will help me make decisions, I am very self-driven. I do not choose to participate in soccer, let alone anything else, because my parents tell me to, I participate because I want to.

Current sports I am participating in other than soccer are, basketball, and lacrosse. I used to do track and field, cross country, and softball.

Outside of sports I enjoy skiing, drawing, and spending time with family and friends. I have been awarded high honors all of my 7th and 8th grade years.

Currently I babysit, and also have my referee license, which I cannot wait to start reffing in the spring season. My dream job is to be a lawyer, or a nutritionist, but in the meantime I plan to keep on living my life.
