My name is Dara Kotz and I am a 2027 graduate. I play as a outside defender for New Jersey Crush 2009 team at the ECNL-R level. On and off the field I am known for my optimistic mindset, hard work, and determination to reach my goals. My strengths include my vision of the field, range of passing, having versatile combination play, and being a very coachable player. My love for soccer started at the very young age of 4 years old and quickly grew into a passion which has resulted in me playing competitive soccer for the past 6 years. Throughout my soccer career I have learned to highlight my unique strength of being a left footed player, while still maintaining a equally powerful non-dominant right foot. Additionally, I excel in taking set plays from distance and corner kicks. As I have become stronger in soccer my off the ball movement and communication with my teammates has seen great improvement. Soccer gives me a way to be a part of a team environment and pushes me to become the best version of myself. This sport is centered around teamwork, motivation, the hunger to succeed, and the drive to want to improve. All of those are important values I have obtained from soccer, and which I am thankful to be using in my everyday life.
