Hello! My name is Araba Abanyie. I am a 16 year old junior and homeschooled! I will graduate in 2025.
I think of myself as a leader and one of the hardest workers on the field and off the field. I can learn through mistakes and gain a deeper understanding of the game by watching other players. I understand how much drive and ambition it takes to play at a higher level. Not only that, but I am positive that I translate those characteristics in every game and practice that I play. I am very talkative when it comes to helping my backline, to ensure that we are on the same page at all times during the game. My speed and reactiveness help me to make saves and prevent shot opportunities in the net. I make an effort to push myself to and above my limit every game to improve myself, win or loss. I want to go to a college that not only reflects how I play on the field, but who I am as a person.
I would love the opportunity to play sports in college. I am currently thinking about majoring in sports medicine or exercise science to learn about athletic related injuries and how to help athletes overcome them.
