As a player, my goal is to make an impact on and off the field, to make the players around me better. As a sweeper, besides the goalie, I am the only player who can see the whole field. I would consider myself a talkative individual when it comes to being on the field and helping my team in making smart decisions on the field, whether it's telling someone to mark a player or telling two players who should win the ball, to prevent a collision. I also consider myself a proactive player. I anticipate and work to win every ball. I'm persevering, hardworking and coachable. I can take criticism because I know it will make me a better player. I went down to New Orleans a few years ago, to help rebuild after Hurricane Katrina. It taught me hard work pays off and how to be a leader. Although playing soccer and rebuilding a house are two completely different things, it is important to help others to make them better. I consider myself a well rounded scholar athlete, being involved in three different sports throughout the year, keeping a good GPA, and making time to other extra-curricular activities.
