Hi Coach!
My name is Madison Stevens and I attend Kent Place School in the Class of 2025. I began my soccer career at the age of 4 years old while living in London, England. Since then, I have continued my love for the game taking on the position of goalie at 7 years old. Throughout the years, I’ve played on many club teams along with my high school team where I was the varsity starting goalie my freshman and sophomore years. I also received All-County Honorable Mention awards both years as well as being selected as the goal keeper on the All-State, Non-public, 3rd team my sophomore year. This fall, I joined a new club team, The Football Academy, where I play for the '06 Black team.
I consider soccer a big part of my identity as many of my attributes were inherited from the game. The overall concept of soccer brings me satisfaction as it taught me to become a leader. I now carry this leadership quality through everyday life. I am also a team first, fierce competitor with mental toughness and confidence.
Off the field, I enjoy spending time with family and friends along with traveling. I have always been interested in nutrition and health especially, the study of muscles. I enjoy the field of Physical Therapy as I can see myself taking on a job in that field in the future.
On and off the field, I have a high standard and set lofty goals. I am a straight A student who is looking for a college that will challenge me academically and athletically.
Lastly, I want to thank you for taking the time to read my personal statement. I hope it brought you interest into my college soccer career since it has always been a dream of mine.
