Addison Wood '25 Recruiting Profile

From a young age, I've known I want to pursue collegiate soccer. Soccer has been a prominent aspect of my life and has provided me with opportunities to express myself, grow, and learn. Alongside the physical thrill, I enjoy the mental side of the game. My experience in the game has taught me how to be a leader both on and off the field. When I am not physically playing, I am spreading my love and passion for the game by working with younger players. As an officially certified coach, I have taken on a team of 2013 girls and was able to coach them to a successful season. The leadership I have gained from the game has continued to fuel my desire to continuously get better both as a player and a student. Balancing the pressures of my demanding soccer schedule, I am enrolled in all AP and honors courses and am currently 3rd in my class with a 4.4 weighted GPA. In the classroom, I am a student who enjoys learning and expanding my knowledge daily. At the collegiate level, I am looking for the opportunity to help produce a successful season as well as have the opportunity to learn and succeed in the academic setting.
