Emily Nickson '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. I started playing club soccer when I was 8.  As a freshman for my high school team I started every game.  During our regional game as a freshman, I took the 5th penalty shot after double overtime and won it for my team.  

I am a leader on and off the field.  My teammates look up to me and always ask me for advice.  I am very coachable and hard working.  As a center back I am loud and compassionate about directing my teammates.  I am a play maker out of the back and my best assets are my strength and being able to read the field. For high school, I play winger because I can score, assist my other teammates with good passes and have the speed.

In college I look forward to playing soccer at a competitive level, meeting new people and growing as a person and a player.
