My name is Maddie Arno and I have had a love for soccer since I was a little girl. I started playing at four years old. Three years ago, I was lucky enough to be asked to play for a local club team, Queen City, and my coaches have helped me improve my skills significantly. My biggest assets are my speed, ball handling and my aggressiveness out on the field.
Although I am just beginning my high school soccer career, last year as an 8th grader, I made the Varsity team as a starting left wing forward and contributed to many of our wins. The highlight of the season was when we were down 3-1 going into the 2nd half and I contributed with a goal to help tie the game and then scored the winning goal in overtime.
My goals for college are to excel academically in addition to continuing my soccer career. I want to become a nurse so I can help others. I have a passion for making people around me feel good because when I can make someone smile, it makes me smile.
