Mackenzie Flynn '25 Recruiting Profile

I love the game of soccer. I have played soccer for Premier Teams up and down the East Coast throughout my life. I was introduced to the game at age four in South Florida. I then moved to Connecticut and played 5 years for the Premier Team "Sporting Connecticut. In 2020 my family moved to Roanoke Island in the Outer Banks. I was immediately placed on the Outer Banks Premier Team called "Storm" and still play for them. My position has been mostly "Striker" although on occasion I helped out on Wing or Mid Field when needed. 

My goal has always been to play at the collegiate level. 

My 10 most recent accomplishments in my Freshman and Sophomore years are as Follows:

- I was named All Mid Atlantic Region, for North Carolina 2023, ranked 10th out of all First Team Allstate recipients. 

- MVP of the 2A State Championship game against Wheatmore High School by scoring 2 goals and an assist for the win.

-Earned 1st team All State Honors both my Freshman and Sophomore year, voted by 2A East Regional Coaches. 

- “Offensive Player of the Year” for my High School.

- I have led our conference with goals scored, as well as, assists for the last 2 years ( 99 goals, 35 assists averaging 1.8 goals per game)

- Northeastern Coastal All Conference Honors Player of the Year 2023

- 2023 2A All Region 

-Varsity Letter Award

- OBX Storm Youth Assistant Coach

- Team Captain 

- Under Armour State Team/ Game

- I was named Youth Volunteer of the Year by Dare County Board of Directors. I was the youngest coach for the Rec Soccer program.
