I started soccer when I was in 3rd grade, but I was awful and had no reason or aspiration to work hard. After I joined travel, I didn’t get much playing time, but still liked the sport. This kept going on until around 6th grade before I finally started working hard.
I finally realized what you had to do to become a great soccer player, and applied it to my soccer life. I’ve become a leader and starter on my team and started to put in lots of work outside of practice.
I want to play college soccer because I love the sport and I’m willing to put in whatever work it takes me to get there.
My goal in college soccer is to improve my playing, be a leader on the team, and work my hardest for a starting spot.
