I have played soccer since the age of four. My dad played for Kansas University all four years. He then played on a premier team in Tulsa, Oklahoma for years. He coached me until academy age, when I joined Tulsa Nationals. Thankfully, he passed his love for the game to me. I have played club soccer ever since, and now play for TSC Hurricane, as well as, Jenks High School. I adore soccer, and it will forever be my greatest passion in life.
Although soccer is my passion, I know that ultimately, academics has to come first. I am very driven and focused when it comes to my academic success. It doesn't always come easy for me, but I've learned through hard work, study and determination that I can succeed. I am very proud of my grade point, look forward to taking the ACT, and preparing for college.
I look forward to an amazing college experience. When asked, why I would want to play college soccer and forgo "The real college experience", I responded, "Because I can't imagine my life without it; it's all I know and what I love"! God has blessed me with a wonderful Irish family, that has supported me, and pushes me to follow my passion and dreams. I will be successful in all areas of life because I am willing to work hard. Nothing worthwhile comes easy, and I appreciate the things I've worked hardest for. I learn from mistakes, I listen, always work to be open minded, and I hope to learn from others. My parents have taught me that every situation good, or bad, brings knowledge if I learn from it. God is my number one, and guides me through all challenges. I am involved in several youth groups, such as Young Life, Redeemer, and Life Church. It keeps me motivated to be a better person and aspire to help others. I also help my father coach a recreation team of seventh grade boys soccer. I am a team builder. I feel one of my greatest strengths is my positive outlook and ability to inspire others through positive reinforcement, and in encouraging words and thoughts. Life is what you perceive and project, and I chose greatness. I am excited for my future college experience and hope soccer plays a huge roll.
