Personal Statement
Ever since I was a little girl, I've dreamed of playing soccer at the university level and to play on the national team to represent my country. My goal is to play for a top university and to also take part in a top academic program.
I am a very competitive individual and I always strive for success. I work as hard as possible in the gym, on the pitch, as well as in the classroom to prove that I can be the best I can be. The most important thing for me is to keep my grades up while training extremely hard every day of the week to make it to the next level. I have a 3.9 GPA and I push myself to the very limit at every training session which proves how I am a very dedicated and hard working on and off the field. During games and practices, I'm very vocal and I try to lead my team to success. I use my speed and aggression to win every battle possible even if it means getting injured.
Mia Hamm once said "The vision of a champion is bent over, drenched in sweat, at the point of exhaustion, when nobody else is looking." This quote inspires me to do the very best I can and to never give up on my dreams.
