I have been playing soccer sense I was about 6 years old. Stepping onto a field and playing soccer for so many years made my love for the sport grow so much through out my life. I have played for many travel teams through out the years including Pocono Snow, NEU (North East United), TNT, and ODP (Olympic Development Program). All of these travel teams have taught me so much about soccer and how much effort, dedication, and determination that is needed to succeed. I am fully committed and will always put my all into this sport.
With all of the coaches I have encountered, many have told me that I am a fast learner and am very coachable. If a coach tells me to do something or to try another position, I'm always up for the challenge. Im willing to try new positions, I'm mainly a forward or midfielder but I have also played defense. Along with that, I am a team leader and try to set an example for my teammates. There are always new girls that come up to varsity and I'm always willing to step in to help and give them positive motivation when needed.
I have played more than just soccer, I have also participated in track and field. I wanted to join track to stay in shape for soccer and I knew I was fast. I joined sophomore year and ran the 100, 200, 4x1, and 4x4. I won many times in all of my events. My fastest time in my 100 was a 13.3, the 200 was a 28.6, and the 4x4 split time was a 1:07. To train I joined Athletic republic for soccer and track. I run on the treadmill and do many strengthening workouts. I plan to join track again during the spring to stay in shape and to get faster for soccer.
Growing up and currently, I'm very on top of my academics and grades. I am currently holding a 4.0 GPA and I always have a 90 or above in every class. I am also very involved in many clubs. I am striving to attend a college where I can both challenge and succeed in academics and athletics. Currently, I am most interested in a future career in Occupational or Physical Therapy.
