Billinda Leisner '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a tri-sport athlete and an Honor Roll student who works hard at everything I do.  Although I started my soccer career later than most athletes, it hasn't prevented me from achieving the goals I set for myself; I strive for success on and off of the field. Over the past few years, I have gone from not knowing how a soccer game works, to playing on an elite ranked team. Even though outside mid is my main position, I have learned how to play everywhere else on the field. Throughout the past year, my club coach has asked me to switch positions on the field countless times because we needed someone to fill in a position. My throw-ins have become crucial in game situations because my team has scored off of them at times.

As I am going into my high school years, I plan to maintain a high GPA at all times; I know that I am a student-athlete, and it's not the other way around. I also plan on taking Honors and AP courses to get the highest level of education possible. Playing soccer has helped me grow in many ways, and I am so grateful that I discovered my love for the sport. For college, I am looking for a program that is a good fit for me academically and athletically. I believe that I have grown in my character, leadership skills, and work ethic through soccer. Playing at the colligate level is one of my aspirations for my future.
