My Story
I had a coach that got murdered about a year and half ago. He was my AAU coach for Philly Hurricanes in the adidas silver gauntlet ,so basically we played great competition at the highest level. The year before that I remember we was beating this team by at least by 40 points with ease but he could tell that I wasn’t playing my hardest even when we was blowing them out. So he decided to take me out the game. As I was coming I was coming out he told me to sit right next to him I have to tell you something. He said “ Dallas you’re a special kid ,as in you have something a lot of kids don’t have at all. When you get in the game it’s like a spark plug comes in the game. When you have the ball in your hands your able to control the game turbo. When something scores on you and they celebrate after you make it your mission to stop him at all cost. You have the best defense I’ve seen since I watched the Gary Payton (The glove). So just because your blowing a team out doesn’t mean you don’t play your hardest remember anybody could be watching you play .” Every time I think about my coach that’s the first memory I have of him. That’s the first coach that believe in my game. I can’t force somebody to pick me but if you do best believe I’m a game changer if you have me on your team I promise you that you won’t regret it. Everybody can score the ball but nobody plays defense and has heart like me.
