Madison Roddy '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Madison Roddy, I am currently a Junior playing for Bayside FC Girls 07s ECRL and I also play Varsity for Lincoln Senior high school in Rhode Island. I was a Varsity junior captain this past season and will continue my captaincy into my senior year in 2024.  I have lead several of the teams that I have played for such as being 1 of 4 captains of my Middle School team to being on my Captain counsel as the captain of my Sophomore class. From a young age I fell in love with the game of soccer and was considered more of an underdog when I started out. Once I was scouted out by a premier coach from LFC I took that opportunity and ran with it. I thrived my first year of premier in 2019 leading my team to a Championship in Cape Cod which we won.  I want more than anything to play the sport I love most in college. My coaches describe as a very hard worker and I take tremendous pride in being someone who does not give up. I take my school work very seriously which shows on my report cards. I am not the person to let myself fall short in my academics, athletics, or character. Passion is a word that drives me in everything I do on and off the field and will forever be my word especially in the classroom, with my friends, and on the soccer field.
