I want to play soccer in college. I have played this great game since I was 4 years old, and I want to continue playing for as long as I can. I am a strong, smart, and creative player. As a defender, I can see the field and, with my technical ability and strength, I can create strong offensive opportunities for my team. I know how to help create success on the field!
I love my teams. I play for Tennessee Soccer Club and my school, Franklin High School in Franklin, TN. I have played for my club team since I was 7 years old, and I have had the best time growing up with my teammates. I play for the 2007 Girls ECNL and my high school’s varsity team. I also played several years in the ODP system as a forward, making my state’s team every year of eligibility. I was also selected to the ODP South Region pool roster for three straight years from 2019-2023 and earned a spot on the South Region ODP team during the 2021-2022 season. When they needed a player with strong defensive skills, I moved to the backline, playing OB and CB for the team.
I have played in a lot of positions over the years, but I love being a defender who can make things happen. I have a very strong leg, so I can drive the ball; I am accurate with my passes and pride myself on my low turnover rate; I am versatile, creative, and I can take the ball up the field and be a threat to an opposing team.
Academics and my choice for a future career are very important to me and will be crucial factors in the decisions I make. I want to play for a competitive program at a great school. I want to be the best student athlete I can be and help advance my school. When it is time to transition to college, I know I will play for a school I love. I am excited for my future and cannot wait to see where I land!
