Hi, my name is Keara Garza. I have been playing soccer since I was four years old and love it! I’m class of 2025, at Mountain Crest High School, and I live in Cache Valley, Utah. I have been playing for club teams since I was 9 years old and would love to play at a collegiate level. I have made many lasting friendships and connections through playing soccer. I take every opportunity to use every move, sprint, and touch to improve my team's chances to succeed. I am currently a starter in the positions of striker and both wings on my club team. I take my academics seriously and strive to do the very best I can in all of my classes. I’m currently taking a math honors class and plan to take college courses next fall. This is to further my education and get a head start on the degree I want to pursue. As an athlete, I have wanted to learn more about how the body works and heals, that is why I have chosen to go into Sports Medicine. Specifically, Physical Therapy. Due to an accident on the field in December 2022, I rupturing my ACL and tore my meniscus. I was able to get back into shape and playing soccer within 7 months due to a great Physical Therapist. Due to this injury, and my personal healing journey, it has made me want to be a Physical Therapist even more.
