Hi my name is Kyah Bindrup. I am currently a freshman at Mountian Crest High School. I have always loved swimming and being in the water ever since I was a little girl. I started swimming for a club team called Cache Valley Marlins at the age of 9 and I automatically fell in love with the sport. I would never miss a meet or a practice and I always made sure I left the pool feeling like I tried my absolute best. It would drive me insane when I was away from the water. Ever since my first swim meet I have always known that swim was my passion and that I would try my best to go as far with it as possible. Right now my goals for swim are to break my high school records, be able to swim at a college level, and to be the best swimmer I can possibly be. What makes me different is that I will put 110% into practice and at meets. I focus on my health and that I am making sure I am doing the right thing for my body. There is always a smile on my face at practice and I am usually laughing. Caring for my team mates is super important to me. I am always down to try new things and to take advice. In practice I push myself to do my best in the set. I like to ask my coaches for feedback after practice and meets or during a set. In my academics I make sure to ask questions and to really get to know the things I am learning. I strive to be the best at everything I do and I always make sure I leave practice knowing I did my best.
