My collegiate goals are many. My main focus and ambition is to rise to the challenge of being great academically and athletically. I plan for these experiences to stay with me for years past my collegiate experience. The act of balancing the two will teach me how to prepare for the future. I will graduate with pride knowing I conquered my goals as a collegiate athlete.
My unselfish skills in soccer have brought much help to my teammates. The ability to use my left or right foot without thought is extremely useful in tight situations. Quick funny story, my dad used to remove my right cleat to make me practice my left foot. I am versatile as I can be placed on defense, outside mid or attacking mid without worry. I consistently distribute the ball effectively to create useful plays. Due to these abilities, I’m often described as coachable.
Outside of soccer, you will find me to be a honest and kind person with determination in my set goals. From an earlier age I watched my parents open and operate a small business. I learned work ethic, commitment, and positivity. A family run business and being a teenager means I have taken on some responsibilities and I’m capable of organizing and scheduling my job duties knowing how important this is to my own family. I have 3 much younger siblings which I value my relationships with and naturally have patience and compassion. Beyond working at our small business, I enjoy working with fellow students with disabilities. I have been hand selected by teachers to help others in school and more recently signed up to be a “pal” for a developing special needs soccer program in my area. I’m also currently the JV basketball manager for the 2019-2020 season.
