Hayden Edwards '27 Recruiting Profile

I am a multi-sport athlete who, in addition to playing soccer year round, has played basketball, volleyball and ran track(mid distance).  I was a starter for the Riverbend High School JV volleyball team this past Fall while playing soccer for my club team. I am currently a starter on the Riverbend High School Varsity soccer team as a freshman. I feel that playing multiple sports has improved my athletic performance and made me a more dynamic team player. It’s also taught me how to prioritize and manage competing responsibilities. It's provided me the opportunity to improve my strength and conditioning and given me enough exposure to other sports to realize that soccer is my passion. I have a high soccer IQ, solid tactical skills, I am physically strong and mentally tough. My goal is to continue playing soccer at the collegiate level. I realize the effort and sacrifices that are required to reach this goal and I plan on giving everything I have to obtain it.
