Hello and thank you for visiting my profile page! I would like to start off by telling you a little bit about myself. Growing up, I have been privileged with being one of seven children. Each one of us has taken the love of soccer to the next level. Being apart of a big family has provided numerous advantages for me. Having many competitive athletes in the family encourages me to work hard to be the best. I first began soccer, like most kids, at the age of 5 playing for the local recreational league, and have continued to play and love the game. Every year since then, I have participated in a fall and spring season. At the age of 11, I tried out and entered the advanced level team for the league. This is when I began fully committing myself to to the game of soccer. This meant practicing until I reached my high personal satisfaction. For me, my love for soccer never gets old. As the years have gone on, I have begun playing at a more challenging level of travel ball. I have had the privilege to meet so many other players and coaches that have benefited me, not only as an athlete, but as a person. I have experienced first hand what being apart of something bigger than myself is all about. I have learned that commitment is what it takes to bring the team to first place. This same commitment is what drives me to work hard in everything I do in life, on and off the field.
The primary position I play is center forward. For me, this position is the reason I have such an intense passion for the game of soccer. Beating a defender with speed, and finishing with goals is what drives me every game to be the best athlete on the field. When I am out there playing, I am in my element. Still, none of my success would be possible without the heart and drive I have to win. Along the way, I have had many coaches who have helped me step up my game to become a better player. For this reason, I know there is always room for improvement. However, am focused on giving my all to this sport in hopes of one day playing at the collegiate level.
Apart from being a three year high school Varsity Soccer letter winner, I spend my off season training with my travel team in tournaments, and indoor seasons. I also am a two sport varsity athlete. My second sport is Tennis: Team Captain (2 years), and MVP (1 year). I have led my team to the conference tournament every year.
In addition to sports, I attend a private Catholic High School that pushes the limits academically. At the end of my senior year, I will graduate with an advanced diploma (34 credited classes). I push myself to participate in as many advanced level classes as possible in hopes of finishing high school with a GPA of 4.0. This means Duel Enrollment, Advanced Placement, and honors classes. I am a member of National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, as well as an active member in many clubs.
My dream is to continue to play soccer at the collegiate level, while earning my degree in pre-med.
