Personal Statement
I will do anything for my team. One of my strongest characteristics is I am a team player, I will do what my teams needs me to do even if that means playing a different position or playing with a minor injury. I can also take charge. I was my high school team captain for our 2018 season. I have improved exponentially the past couple of season as an athlete. During high school soccer I was placed with the task of playing center midfielder and marking a player from the women’s national team. I had never played the position before but took on the task head on and was determined not to let my team down. My coach and team were impressed with how I played and controlled the situation. I am not only a team player but also a determined player with great work ethic. I will not quit until the whistle blows. My philosophy is to keep working at it until you get it right. Many coaches have told me they appreciate my determination and hard work I put into the team. I know I will work hard for your team.
Along with determination I am extremely fast. I can beat most defenders and can get over the top of balls my teammates play to me. I have gone to state 2 years in a row now for track and have been the starter and fastest leg of 2 relays that have beat both the school records. I placed 7th at state for the 400 meter dash. I also have great endurance and will not quit even if I am exhausted, I will continue to work hard.
