Marseille Edwards '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Marseille Edwards and I will be graduating in 2025. I have been playing competitive soccer at a premier level since 2016. My commitment and passion for soccer has been life long and I am determined to play as I move forward into university/college. Soccer has shaped me into the person I am today, with the life lessons of dedication, perseverance, teamwork and leadership. I believe in a team that builds confidence in each other will be successful towards winning. My current primary position is along the backline and I also train and play as a wing for my secondary position. I have been told that my speed on the field is "game changing", so in addition to soccer I also run track to continue pushing myself for endurance and speed. 

When I am not on the field I enjoy spending time with my family. My family enjoys traveling and I love to learn and see new places where ever we go. I think traveling builds a understanding of the world around you and I hope to see all that it has to offer. I plan to pursue a degree in either liberal arts or international studies with an emphasis on writing/journalism. I find being able to recap on my thoughts, experience and subjective views is a necessary part in writing and on the soccer field. Each player see's every play differently and being able to express in a way that can be understood by different people how you saw something play out can help bring a team together for clarity. I look forward to bringing all that I have to offer into my next chapter in soccer.
