Personal Statement

My collegiate goals include both focusing on furthuring my education and competing at the collegiate level in the sport of soccer.  I have been faced with many challenges in my short life time, including being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 11. I have never let this disease stop me or slow me down, if anything, it has motivated me to be an inspiration to other young individuals facing this diagnosis.  I feel my best qualitities are my positive attitude and my competitive nature.  I like to be a leader on and off the field.  While it has always been my dream to play soccer at the collegiate level, I also realize the importance of my education and will strive to excell in both.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
