Hello Coaches! My name is Sophia Garcia. I am from Whitewater, WI, and attend Whitewater High School, graduating this spring of 2024. I was introduced to the game of soccer at the age of four. Over the years of being on the field, I realized the love and appreciation I have for the game. As high school approached, I knew how influential soccer was to my life. My primary position on the field is forward, but I am an open-minded player who is versical and familiar with many positions. Some positions include forward, as previously stated, center back, outside back, attacking midfielder, and striker. One of my strengths includes being a very coachable individual with a high work ethic. My dad has always been my biggest motivator by always supporting my dreams and providing opportunities that he wasn't fortunate enough to obtain himself. With his and my family's constant support, I hope to make both of our dreams a reality. One way I find improvement is by watching films after games to help me further identify my mistakes and improve for future games. Though soccer is crucial to my identity, my education always comes first. These two aspects of my life are interlinked as they both motivate me to excel.
