I have been swimming competitively since I was six years old for our local swim club team, Cheshire CDOGs. Swimming has played a huge part in making me who I am today. I absolutely want to continue my swimming career into college. I consider myself hardworking and dedicated both in the pool and in the classroom. I have been a reliable teammate and a consistent swimmer throughout each season. When it is championship time however, whether I'm anchoring a relay or swimming an individual event, I am able to see my hard work pay off with significant time improvements. While personal goals, such as making a new YMCA National cut, are important, I get great satisfaction in celebrating with my relay, or club and high school teammates. I hope to find a college and a team that allows me to grow as an individual both academically and athletically.
