Ashley Zonghetti '18 Recruiting Profile

I am excited about the opportunity to swim at college. I am an extremely hard worker and have steadily gotten better both academically and in the pool each year of high school. I maintain a 3.8 GPA in high school through mid way of my junior year just getting a 4.0 my first term! I have also grown as a swimmer reaching personal bests in the 50 yard free (24.46) and 100 yard (54.09) finishing 7th in Metros and 7th in the Maryland state finals for the 50 yard freestyle.  My goals are to break 24 my senior year in the 50 free and to break 53 in the 100 free. I want to also improve on the longer distance free style events and swim more fly events. I believe with better coaching and more training including dryland training I can achieve these goals and be an asset to a college swim program. I have been told I have a great swimmers body at 5'10" with a 7' wing span.  I enjoy competing and I am excited about continuing my swim career at the next level.
