I joined the swim team at my school in 8th grade. Ever since then I've grown into a strong, motivated, and determined athlete. Swimming in college would be an amazing experience that I know I would grow and learn from.
Competitive swimming is something I believe I have the motivation and determination to do. I am a leader in and out of the pool, I have been named captain of my high school swim team for both my 2013 and 2014 swim season. I am a very coachable swimmer that will work hard to improve everyday.
Not only am I motivated in the pool but also in the classroom. I have been on the A honor since freshmen year at my high school. I am also involved in Key Club, Choir, and attend a leadership camp in the summer.
Wherever I attend college I will push myself not only in the pool but in my academics as well. I hope to attend a college that will have a high level of competition and one that will also push me in the classroom. I hope to be a good role model for my teammates and make my coaches and parents proud!
