My name is Sarah Fondacaro, and I'm hoping to make my dreams become a reality by swimming in college. I believe that I am a great candidate for any team who has interest in me . I believe that inside and outside of the pool I am hardworking, determined, respectful and a very motivated young lady. Swimming has taught me how to have discipline, how to be a leader, how to demonstrate good sportsmanship, and how to learn from your mistakes. Over previous years I struggled academically and with swimming because I had a childhood seizure disorder. I'm so thankful that I decided to believe in myself and have supportive family, coaches, and friends who also helped me along the way to overcome an obstacle that was a challenge throughout my life. I take my schoolwork very seriously, and I work very hard to achieve my goals such as going into health and professions. During these hard times I took a lot of steps in advocating for myself by getting my own personal trainer, switching club teams, and everything in my power to improve and achieve my goals of swimming in college and to continue to grow as a student athlete but as a person. Thank you for your time and for considering me for your team.
