Ava Defranco '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello!

I would love to swim in college and be to be part of a team environment.  I genuinely love to work hard for my team and enjoy the comradery of the whole team dynamic,  I am very adept at organizing my time and I do not procrastinate in any task.  I am looking forward to becoming my swim team captain next year because I help create positive working and team environments.  I l love the positive energy of a supportive team and it makes going to practice seem like fun rather then work.  I am consistently dropping a lot of time each year and I hope to drop bigger chunks of time in my junior and senior years.  I row for my high school crew team and this has also made me much stronger both physically and psychologically.  I may not be the fastest one on the team (although that certainly is a goal) but I bring a lot of good qualities to keep the team dynamic in a positive and supportive place.
