Zaniya Matos '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Niya! I started summer league at the age of 6 and was competitive all year at 8. I've always had dreams of being in the Medical field while doing swim. I can't imagine my life without swimming so as you can see it's important to me. My best race is anything in Breaststroke. I've been trying to get better at IM because all of my strokes aren't perfect, but the technique is on point. I speak the truth about anything I feel. I know how to communicate and talk to others if something is ever on my mind. Every day I wake up, thank God and try to be a better version of myself.  I'm not someone who types who they are or anything.  I'm someone that once you talk to you would want to talk again. I can be an introvert, but around people who make me feel welcomed, or feel at home makes me open up. I hope whoever reads this haves a good day!
