I would like to be able to continue my academic and athletic careers at an institution that can provide both a challenging academic setting and a competitive athletic environment. I am a big supporter of a team atmosphere, and one of my favorite parts about swimming is being able to connect with my teammates and my coaches. Pushing myself everyday to become a triple impact competitor - to improve not only myself, but my teammates, and ultimately the sport as a whole is the goal that I have in every practice. I am ambitious and I have lofty goals. I hold myself to high standards both academically and athletically, so I work hard whenever I am provided an opportunity so that I can achieve my goals.

- I began club swimming at age 10 for Carmel Swim Club in Carmel, Indiana, where I became immersed in the swimming world. At age 13, I moved to McLean, Virginia, where I began training with Nation's Capital Swim Club. Currently, I swim five two-hour practices, one three hour practice, and one hour and a half long practice a week, as well as two hour long dryland sessions in per week.
