I am a highly-motivated, self-starter ! I like to be independent, and I don't mind working alone. I love finding good players for practice, and will practice with older men or women, if competition is good. I don't complain about the time or hard work that it takes to improve my game. I am responsible for my school and practice schedule and my laundry too, because my mom works a lot. Now, that I have my driver's license, I drive my little brother to school everyday, and teach him some tennis. I have learned to balance my difficult coursework (even taking history online last summer from Univ Alabama) while I traveled and played some tournaments in California.
When I play tennis matches, I do not give up. I have a quiet nature, and I do not let my opponents make me mad. Sometimes, I battle it out against better players. and win– simply because I frustrate them, and they get mad and give up. I try to play consistently and "quietly" on the court, which can frustrate my opponents.
I love to travel, and I like to become friends with many different types of people. I enjoy hiking, drawing, and playing piano, in my free time. I consider myself a good listener, and I have learned a lot from my different coaches and teachers. I look forward to college and playing on a tennis team. I am not sure that I will pursue a career path in the health fields, but I enjoy anatomy, biology, and worked I in a hospital last summer.
