Hello everyone,

I'm Isabelle Richter, a determined 15-year-old with big dreams both on the tennis court and in the classroom. Back in February 2023, I took a significant leap by stepping into the world of high school tennis, a challenge I embraced wholeheartedly despite never having touched a tennis racket before. My journey in sports has always been about embracing new challenges, having previously excelled in soccer, volleyball, and basketball, and earning spots on the JV volleyball and basketball teams during my freshman year.

To my astonishment, tennis quickly became a focal point in my life, leading me to make the varsity team thanks to my coach recognizing my competitive spirit and athletic ability. I've immersed myself in training, from private to group lessons, and am actively participating in USTA and UTR tournaments. My ultimate aspiration is college tennis, and I'm committed to the necessary work to make this dream a reality.

Parallel to my athletic pursuits, I've nurtured a passion for accounting and finance, drawn to the strategy, process, numbers, and goal-setting inherent in the field. This interest complements my tennis career, where strategy and mental fortitude play crucial roles. I find joy in applying the same analytical skills and strategic thinking to both my academic studies and athletic endeavors, striving for excellence in each.

Academically, I maintain a solid 3.95 GPA and am working tirelessly to elevate it further, all while being actively involved in student council. This involvement has honed my leadership skills and complements my holistic approach to personal growth.

Beyond the court, my love for strategy and numbers has me dreaming of merging my sports experience with a career in finance, perhaps even managing finances within the sports industry. I aim to break down stereotypes and encourage others to embrace new endeavors, regardless of their starting point. As I've learned, one does NOT need to begin at an early age to excel, a principle I live by both in sports and academics.
