2022 SpotlightPersonal Statement
My name is Summer Even-Esh and I began playing tennis at age 3. I remember falling in love with trying to hit the ball against the wall at a local park with my Mom and I was hooked ever since. I still love going to the same park & hitting against the wall. Tennis has become more than a sport for me. Tennis is something that helps me get lost in the moment while finding myself at the same time.
My style is different than others. I love hitting the ball with power & battling against players that Challenge me to be my best. My style has evolved through the years but it began to take shape when my Mom first took me to The Rick Macci Academy at age 6. I learned to play with more than just skill but to also play with passion, heart & soul. I am excited to become part of a college team where I can advance my academics & knowledge for my future, while also representing my school, team & family with pride.

Tennis is my passion, and I want to play at the highest level possible for me, and to play in a place that is guaranteed to give me the great training and a great experience. I love tennis and I want to make it to the top. I have played nationals since I was 12 years old and I started playing USTA tournament when I was 8.
