Track and cross country has been a big part of my life ever since I was little. My parents were competitive runners in college and my aunt represented Kenya in the olympics. Their hard work has inspired me to pursue running myself. I hope to keep the tradition going. I have a very competitive background, being nationally ranked when I ran for USATF in elementary school. These last 2 years I have achieved several PRs and don't intend on stopping. I take my academics just as seriously as my athletic career, challenging myself with several AP and honors courses. Running is very important to me and I don't mess around when it comes to races or practices. I hope to find a college where I can continue my running and studies and take it to the next level.
