Jahlynn Hancock '17 Recruiting Profile

My main goal for Track and Field was to be able to join the Junior Nationals team and compete, but soon be good enough for the United States Olympic team. I would be a good candidate, because I put a lot of time, effort, and concentration into my craft and what I am going to become better at doing. My character is changed when it comes to track. I am very competitive and I have very high sportsmanship, not only for myself or my team, but for other athletes that do well and try their best at their event. I am a very outgoing and bubbly person. I ask a lot of questions and try and help others with things. Academics do come before my sports, but I am very high standing in school and put time into my work so it can benefit me in life and keeping my spot on the Track team.
