Chloe Gale '19 Recruiting Profile

I am Chloe Gale. I am a natural-born leader defined by determination, character and compassion. I am the oldest of four sisters and come from an impressive family running tradition. My mother was a 5-time Illinois state track (4 x 800, 800 and 1600) and cross country champion and all-Big-Ten runner at the University of Iowa. My father competed in state in the 1600 and cross country for Glenbrook North High School and went on to Eastern Illinois University and the University of Iowa Top 5 Cross Country, 1600 and 3000 steeplechase). I've been inspired by this tradition and it has propelled me to strive to reach my potential. I have battled back from injuries and am now feeling healthy, strong and more determined than ever. My dream is to compete in college for an institution that values not only my running talent, but also my leadership abilities and academic pursuits. I desire to be part of a team of like-minded individuals who refuse to accept limitations and are always striving to push themselves beyond what they've already achieved and bring their teammates along with them!
