2015 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My current goals are to stay consistent, and keep moving the poles. My specific goals are to perfect my run, plant, invert and my pike, and to shave off some more tenths on my sprints.
I have been working hard to keep a consistent work out/vault practice schedule. I use weight training, vault apparatuses, speed training and endurance training (and lots and lots of abs!) I will continue to use the Flying Dragons Pole Vault Club regularly to help with this schedule, and visit pole vault camps nearby whenever possible.
My interests are with Biology and Spanish, however, I've not narrowed my specific interest. I feel fortunate to be able to pursue my education with the University of Notre Dame and their great Track and Field program. I can not wait to see where this next chapter leads me. I have an incredible amount of determination to fuel my goals, and my discipline towards my goals are self driven! However, it's an added bonus having the love and support from my six siblings and my parents!!
