I developed a love for track and field when I joined my junior high team in the 6th grade. I began as a short sprinter running the 100 meters, 200 meters, and the 4 x 100 meter relay. After my first junior high season I joined the Zephyrs Track Club and began competing during the summer outdoor and fall/winter indoor seasons (USATF and AAU) . I began training for the 400 meters at the conclusion of my first junior high and summer seasons and developed a love for this event.
My goal is to earn an athletic scholarship running track and field for a team that is well coached and competitive in their respective conference. My goal is to compete in the NCAA indoor and outdoor championships. My work ethic and positive attitude separates me from my peers. I want to be successful in the classroom and on the track.
I earned All-American honors in 2017 as a member of the 4 x 400 meter relay for the Zephyrs Track club earning 4th place 3:52.41 at the USATF Hershey National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships. I again earned All-American honors in 2018 as a member of the 4 x 400 meter relay for the Zephyrs Track Club earning 5th place 3:51.16 at the USATF Hershey National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships.
