Destiny Hooper Hi...Personal Statement
My goal is to graduate with a degree in the medical field and maximize my potential as a student-athlete. I believe hard work is essential to success and teammates pushing each other is the best motivation. This is the attitude and mindset that I will bring to my new team. I have been in “French Immersion” since kindergarten, which means all of my classes have been taught in French, except for English. My mom was born and raised in Germany but her family is from Ghana. She has family all over the world which allowed for my brother and I to travel the world from a young age. I have a better view of the different cultures, people, and mindsets from all over.
