Hi! I’m Lucy Littlejohn. I am so glad you have decided to check out who I am. A core value of who I am can be described with the word excellence. Everything I do, I want to do from a place of excellence. Whether I am in the class room or on the course/track, I want to pursue excellence. Running is very important in my life, and it is something that I have and am willing to work very hard for. I love running because it challenges me in a way not many other things can. I have grown not just in my physical health, but my mental health while being a runner. For example, I was the slowest person on my cross country and track team my seventh grade year, but by staying consistent and determined I have found myself with 5 state titles and a lot more miles at just my junior year of high school. Running has taught me that my greatest competitor is me. While beating other people to the finish line is an amazing feeling, an even greater sense of accomplishment can be achieved when I am a better runner today than I was yesterday. I hope to keep improving and growing in every aspect of my life and would love to be given the opportunity to do this at the collegiate level. Thank you for stopping by. It means a lot!
