I began doing track in 8th grade, after I decided to quit softball. I instantly fell in love with the dynamic as soon as I started. During modified, I ran the 200H and did triple jump. I was undefeated the entire season in both events.
Going into my freshman year, I continued to do triple jump, and began running the 400 and also began doing long jump in outdoor track. I competed at the varsity level throughout the whole season, and placed in my events in almost every meet.
Many of my coaches always tell me that I have a strong work ethic, and I believe that this is what helps an athlete succeed the most. I am also extremely competitive, and I push myself to do my best in everything. In academics, I also succeed by making honor roll (90/100 or above) for my entire 9th grade year. I strive to do my best on and off of the track.
