If I was told in 6th grade I would love doing sports I would have laughed. Now that I look back I wish I started sooner. If my 8th grade self was told I would be getting A's and B's and living on my own at 16 while going through the emancipation process I would have died of laughter. I have loved doing Track since 7th grade. It was my getaway from my abusive alcoholic father, as I grew I learned to love it because it made me a better person. It made me realize I will not see results without putting the work in.
