Aaliyah Brown '16 Recruiting Profile

Going to college is something we all dream about from the time we're young. Honestly, I thought there would be absolutely no chance of me getting into a decent college. I am an international student from The Bahamas, therefore schooling for me is costly. I don't have the type of money to go to the college of my choice, but eventually I will. With all the odds against me, I learned to challenge myself and be humble and be appreciative for what has been done. I would make a good candidate because I'm hardworking, I follow directions, I'm easy to get along with and I'm a team player. Track can be a one man sport, but its a team effort that gets the win overall. I always make my teammates my family. I love this sport and I'm very passionate about it. I've been running since the third grade. Ultimately I would say, this is my only way out.
